Full biography

Samia Waqar is a leadership strategist, executive educator, author and creator of Role-Agnostic Project Leadership™. She is the founder and CEO of S&S Coaching and Consulting Services.

She holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Bradford. Her professional experience has included human-resources-related roles with Gap Inc., Amazon, Volkswagen and Air Canada Express, as well as project-leadership and transformation assignments involving the Ontario Public Service, lululemon, Alstom and Bombardier.

This cross-disciplinary experience shaped a central question: as artificial intelligence expands what organizations can analyze, automate and execute, are they developing leaders with the judgment, governance, adoption and accountability required to turn that capacity into sustained value?

Samia developed Role-Agnostic Project Leadership™, or RAPL™, as a practical architecture for senior leaders accountable for work that crosses functions, requires governance decisions and must be measured by the value it produces rather than the activity it generates. RAPL™ is organized around four phases and twelve capabilities that help leaders define the work, govern the work, protect the work and land the value.

Her forthcoming book, The Leadership Economy: Why Today's Organizations Need the Leaders We Are Not Yet Developing, proposes that as AI expands execution, analysis, coordination and option generation, leadership capabilities such as judgment, strategic choice, governance, integration, trust, adoption and accountability become increasingly consequential to whether technological and strategic capacity becomes responsible and sustained value.

Samia's work invites organizations to treat leadership capability not as an assumption attached to title, tenure, confidence or exposure, but as organizational capital that must be deliberately assessed, developed, applied, evidenced and renewed.

Samia's approach

Samia's approach

Evidence-aware

Separate established findings, professional practice, author synthesis and unvalidated framework claims.

Applied

Connect leadership development to real decisions, live work, feedback and observable behaviour.

Role-agnostic

Develop capability wherever strategic work requires it, without pretending every executive role is identical.

Accountable

Keep ownership for decisions, risk, adoption, benefits and consequences visible.

Value-focused

Measure success by responsible and sustained organizational outcomes, not activity alone.
